hrm. well, i can't really answer that. i'm not a parent, and i'd like to think i wouldn't do any butt-swatting, but really i have no idea if i would or not.
I got curious about this because I've noticed that a lot of people who swore they'd never spank their child ended up changing their mind after they became parents. I've never been opposed to swatting my kids on the butt, but any further than that, no. Often I think I should spank mine more often, since he's often out of control.
