Your mother wears combat boots!

That's what everyone will say to Alexander when I have to start wearing combat boots around the house to avoid the glass that seems to keep magically appearing. Last night it came from my cat Sadie jumping off the counter and knocking a glass right into the path of my bare feet. I now have about 5 shards of glass stuck in my foot. No matter how many times I sweep the damn floor, I always miss a couple, so when I think it's safe to go in there, I forget to put on shoes and step on more of it! It doesn't hurt though while my shoes are on. But when I'm barefooted. Go figure.

I don't know why they made us work today. None of the doctors or nurses were there, but they made all of us peons show up anyway. I guess it was good for the transcriptionists since we had a lot to catch up on, but the receptionists and records people, I don't know why they made us show. But it was nice and quit there with no one from records stealing my charts, so I got a lot done.
