morrigan716Sicne I've been back I've had more stress than I really care to deal with. Nothing horrible, just reminders of how deep down life royally sucks. I've been worried about Siscly and her marital problems. Yeah I know it's not really my problem, but since I love her I get stressed over her problems too. My bones/muscles have been aching, and when I tried to massage my hand muscles after typing for a long time I ended up bruising myself. Lovely, Lisa. Really smart! The instant I got home from England, I discovered that my mom had come over while I was gone and cleaned and rearranged everything in my apartment. I've been calling her a few times a day to ask where she fucking put everything, and trying to find out if she looked in my file cabinet. (Personals hidden there. Nothing horrible, but things you don't really want your mom to find.)
I went back to work today and spent the majority of it fixing the mistakes my replacement made while I was gone. It's kind of cool though. The first three days she made so many mistakes that they just said, "Fuck it. Leave it all for Lisa to do when she comes back. It's faster than fixing all the errors." It's good to know that I'm good at my job. Now if I can convince them that I'm good enough for about a $10 raise, we'll be getting somewhere!
I went to lunch with J.D. today. We went to the Chinese restaurant on Seymour Highway and I pigged out at the buffet. I lost 6 pounds before I went to England. I didn't watch what I ate there, but I walked around a lot and carried my heavy luggage, so I managed to not gain anymore. But since I've been home, my muscles have been sore so I haven't exercised as much as I should.
Tonight was Alexander's "graduation" ceremony. He's not technically graduating, just moving up to the 4-year-old class. I'm wondering if I should let him go to "real" pre-k next year. It's free and he'll be gone longer. But I'm kind of devoted to the church and all they've done for me, despite the fact that I'm not exactly a faithful member. And since Josh is supposed to be paying for it anyway, what the hell.
