How Beautiful Are the Feet?

Today at work Handel's "Messiah" was piped into the walls. I've always loved it but for some reason today I started to laugh at "How Beautiful Are the Feet".

"How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things, etc."

Yeah, I know what it means, the symbolism and everything, but like a geek, I started thinking about feet running around preaching the gospel. And I have to say, I've never met anyone in my life who had beautiful feet.

I ended up going to Fat Albert's again last night with bleustalking1 and Kevin. We drank a lot of low carb beer and had one of those "deep" conversations. Was it the Christmas spirit? Bah.

I have a shard of glass imbedded in my right foot. About a year ago at this time I stepped on a piece of glass too and didn't get it out till about March. This time the glass was broken when Danny the Ghost threw a beer bottle out of the trash can. Apparently the guy doesn't like Christmas. He also threw the fan off the table, while the cats were in the other room. I think it spooked the cats worse than it did me.
