Pink-eyed Girl

Tonight was intesting. My infection is getting better, my eyes are only slightly bloodshot-looking, but I'm probably still contagious. At Backdoor tonight, I had to do the show with no contacts in, meaning I couldn't see shit. I kept my glasses just offstage so I could get them for the scene changes. If I didnt' have them then, I'd be putting the props in all sorts of strange places. But I made it. Then afterwards in the receiving line, I was all hiding my hands under my scarf telling everyone, "Don't shake my hand, I have pink-eye" over and over. It was funny. But am I the only person who has an issue with the receiving line. It just seems like an excuse for people to tell us we kick ass. Has anyone ever actually ever come through and said, "Boy you guys suck!"?
