They're a band from Wales with a female singer, Cerys Matthews. Kind of Tori-ish, kind of Dido-ish.

Being British, go on, explain this one to me. I constantly moan about this country when in reality, I am NOT sure I could live any where else now...

Books?

Do you like Angela Carter's novels by any chance? Have you ever read any of the Gormanghast novels? I love reading when I have the time. Oh, that and I should be studying now for my Web Technologies exam tomorrow.

Oh I love England. I've been there twice and may go back next year. I feel very British at heart! Though, like you said, I bitch about the US, but I'm so accustomed that I don't think I could live anywhere else.

I've never read any of the ones you mentioned! I dont' have quite as much time to read these days. (Of course hanging out online doesn't help). My favorite authors are listed in my interests too!
